ALLEN HERITAGE GUILD EVENTS
A County marker will be dedicated recognizing the John Liter Brown Homestead at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25 at the Courses at Watters Creek, 7201 Chase Oaks Blvd.
John came to the Allen area in 1856 and established his homestead after his marriage to Mary Susannah Lunsford. They had a two-story home, barn and more out-buildings on their many acres of land at the site near Rowlett Creek.

The schedule is:
Mar. 18 & 19- Model trains at the depot, 100 E. Main St.
Mar. 25 & 26- Model trains at the depot, 100 E. Main St.
Mar. 27- Board meeting 7-9 pm at the Bolin House
April 5 - Leisha Phipps of Chestnut Square in McKinney will be speaker for our April program at 6:30 at the Depot Museum
